Charity Spotlight: Young and Brave Foundation

Cancer affects millions of individuals every single day. This was a scary reality for Nathaniel Curran and Matt Coulter in 2010 when a loved one was diagnosed with cancer. Curran and Coulter did not want to sit back on the sidelines; instead they began raising funds and spreading awareness within their community. This experience was eye opening and revealed the harsh realities of the disease.
In March of 2011, Curran and Coulter’s need to help others came to life with their foundation The Young and Brave being recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Everything since the beginning has been done through love, so much so their battle cry is “Always LOVE.” They have created a community of fighters, survivors, and activists with the same goal in mind. The Foundation is dedicated to helping families and individuals with their fight against cancer and reminding everyone who faces this battle: “We believe in you, we believe in LOVE, and we believe in your right to fight like hell!”
