Erin Katrina McLeod is a Canadian soccer player, Olympic bronze medalist and visual artist. McLeod is acknowledged as one of the finest female goalkeepers in the world, with 116 appearances for Canada. As artist, musician, entrepreneur and LGBT spokeswoman, she is also a role model off the field.
Two time W League Champion during her time with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Erin has continued to have an incredible professional career from playing in the NWSL with the Washington Freedom, Chicago Red Stars, Houston Dash and now with S.C Sand in Germany. Her long career is a testament to her incredible strength as a player and team mate. Off the pitch Erin is active with many organizations including Right to Play and Grass2Gold as well as being a talented artist in her own right. She is passionate about the connection of sport, art, education and Canada SCORES Vancouver.

Erin's custom designs includes our first ever hand drawn design by one of our honorees. Erin shares one of her original pieces of art with the message “Be Right Here" which embodies her personal journey through struggles, hardships and success over her career.

Canada SCORES Vancouver began providing complimentary after-school programming for vulnerable students in elementary schools in the lower mainland. Our program is designed to be delivered five days per week and combines Soccer, Poetry (reading/writing) and community service as well as on-going mentoring relationships with students.
